1930's London Style
Wow, where do we start, John & Matthew had SUCH fantastic ideas for their 1930's inspired wedding day and we were so excited to bring them to life.
The process started with individually prepared vintage telegram save the dates, complete with vintage stamps and a bespoke monogram all delivered in telegram stamped envelopes.
How best to follow these than with bespoke vintage 'Picture Post' magazine invitations filled with 1930's inspiration, details of the day, bespoke 'stepping out fashion' illustrations to inspire guests outfits, and a hand drawn map to plot out the day's destinations.
With Matthew being in the travel industry vintage travel became a running theme for the day itself, and their table plan was the central focus of this. Individually named suitcase favours were created where guests found their name and destination (table) on the tag then took their 'luggage' to their seat. All inspired by original vintage Imperial Airways memorabilia and graphics.

Having a distinct theme for our wedding meant that our stationery was essential to setting the scene for our big day. We were impressed with Freya's work and loved her friendly, "sky's the limit" attitude. No idea was too big and she was a delight to work with. She made herself available for evening meetings in London to talk though ideas, designs and paper samples. The finished items made the wedding what it was and are still being talked about! All the stationery was stunning in it's quality, meaningful by the level of personalisation and fun by the way it engaged with our guests.
